EMERGENCY PLUMBING & GAS WORK


You know what it’s like.  Things always seem to happen at the most inconvenient time and when you are least expecting it. You hadn’t planned for this flood or to get in from work to a freezing flat when your boiler breaks down.  

I am pleased to say that we are here to help you with emergency plumbing and heating problems even when the office is closed.

HOW DOES THIS WORK

If you call us on 020 8996 2930 out of hours, you will go through to a call centre.  The assistant will take all your details and the details of the problem.  The next call you will get will be from one of our out of hours engineers.   It is really important to know whether your emergency is related to your boiler or to general plumbing.  The reason for this is that the call needs to go to the correct out of hours engineer.   

So for example, if you have no heating or hot water and your boiler is not firing, tell the call centre that you think that your problem is boiler related.    If you have water flooding out from under your sink let them know that you think it is plumbing related.

COST OF OUR OUT OF HOURS SERVICE

Plumbing
Monday - Friday, 6:00pm to Midnight, Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm: £90 + VAT for the first hour (or part of), £45 + VAT per half hour thereafter (or part of)

Monday - Friday, Midnight to 8:00am, Saturday 6:00pm to Midnight and Sundays: £110 + VAT per hour or part there of.

Gas
Monday - Friday, 6:00pm to Midnight, Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm: £95 + VAT for the first hour (or part of), £47.50 + VAT per half hour thereafter (or part of)

Monday - Friday, Midnight to 8:00am, Saturday 6:00pm to Midnight and Sundays: £115 + VAT per hour or part thereof


Please note:  if we are called out to a boiler repair, we might not be able to fix it immediately because we will not have all the parts in the van.  We have a selection of stock items but for some jobs, we will need to order the part from the suppliers.  If you have a heating issue, then tell the engineer that you would like to use one of our heaters.  They will take a £20 returnable deposit until we can get back to you.  Remember, if you have an immersion, this can provide you with hot water until your boiler is fixed.

Please note that the people in the call centre do not know how busy our engineers are so please bear with us if the engineer is not able to call you back immediately.  We will do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible.
